Garden Gate - Size Information

From the artwork of Roni LaBree:  http://www.ronilabree.com

This design includes 2 different sizes for most formats.  The "large" design is for the 5x7" hoop and has the complete design.  For the 4x4" hoop users I have kept just the main "focus point" of the design, which is very pretty on it's own (see the example pictures at the bottom of the page)!

HINT: For especially the 5x7 hoop version, it is extremely important that you hoop & stabilize your fabric VERY well, as it is completely solid with stitches.  There are color suggestions, hints and tips for stabilizing and hooping in the text file that accompanies the files.  These take a while to stitch, but the finished result is WELL worth the effort!

Bev is making a Mother's Day gift with her stitchout!  At the top, she has added the words, "Mother's Love is Always in Bloom", and says to complete her project it will be a long, narrow wall hanging with 14 names embroidered on it (wow).  I LOVE the idea!  Thanks, Bev!

Just a simple mat and frame really set off the colors in the design!

Here is where I used the 4x4 version for a project!  I cut an oval piece "puffy" Press-On backing, adhered my stitchout to the puffy side.  On the back I glued lace & silk flowers, glued imitation seed pearls to the edge of the front, and glued all of that to the lid of a small, crackle-painted wooden box.  The overall look is VERY antique-looking and VERY pretty :)
